Shears aren't knives. A convex edge has to be honed on the correct radius — get it wrong and you flatten the bevel and the shear stops cutting clean. A set of professional shears runs $400 to $800. I'm not putting my name on that work until I can do it to the same standard as everything else I hand back.

What we sharpen for groomers
All lengths. We restore the hollow grind and set the correct convex edge for clean, single-pass cutting.
Curved blades matched along both edges. Tension set to manufacturer spec after sharpening.
Micro-serrated side cleaned and polished. Cutting side sharpened to preserve the tooth count and blending ratio.
Wide-tooth chunkers returned with a sharp, drag-free edge on each tooth. No tooth reshaping needed in most cases.
