Why It Matters
What Dull Blades Actually Do
Torn grass = disease risk
Dull blades rip instead of cut. Ragged tips turn brown and invite fungal disease within days.
Engine works harder
Your mower strains against dull metal — burning more fuel and accelerating wear on spindles and belts.
Scalping and uneven cuts
An unbalanced or dull blade causes missed patches and scalping no matter how careful you are.
Process

FAQ
Common Questions
How much does mower blade sharpening cost?
$10 per blade. Sharpening and balancing are both included — no extra charge.
What types of mower blades do you sharpen?
Standard rotary blades from push mowers only. We do not service riding mowers, zero-turn mowers, reel mowers, or commercial/fleet equipment. Text us a photo if you're not sure.
Do I need to bring the whole mower?
No. Remove the blade at home and drop it off — or book a porch pickup. You never need to bring the whole mower.
Do you balance the blade after sharpening?
Yes. Every blade is balanced after sharpening using precision equipment. Balancing is included in the $10.
How often should I sharpen?
Every 20–25 hours of mowing, or at least once at the start of each season. Brown ragged tips after mowing are a clear sign it's time.
